Google login vs Email login — what’s the difference? login
Google login usually doesn’t require email verification steps. Email/Password signup typically requires verification before using Dashboard.
Invisible Work
What does “Repeat type” mean? repeats
Repeat type tells the app if the task is one-time or a routine:
- One-time = you did it once
- Daily = counted every day going forward
- Daily (weekdays) = counted Mon–Fri going forward
- Weekly = counted once per week on the same weekday
Why is “When did you do it?” disabled sometimes? repeats
It’s disabled for repeating routines because the app auto-counts the routine forward. Use date/time only for one-time tasks.
I added a repeating task — will it appear in the past? repeats
No. Repeating routines start from when you created them (so your history doesn’t get inflated).
Minutes vs hours — how do I enter time? hours
Use hours as decimals:
- 15 minutes = 0.25
- 30 minutes = 0.50
- 45 minutes = 0.75
- 1 hour 15 min = 1.25
Reports
What’s the point of the Daily/Weekly receipt? sharing
It’s a simple summary you can share to increase visibility and reduce misunderstandings. It’s meant for appreciation and planning, not blame.
Monthly Budget
What is “Homecare (Invisible Work)” in the budget? budget
It’s the estimated value of invisible work you logged (time × hourly rate). It’s shown like an expense-equivalent to make the hidden work visible. It’s not cash you paid.
I want “real cash” income vs expenses (excluding Homecare) budget
Use the Cash vs With Homecare toggle in the Budget view:
- Cash: income − expenses (excluding homecare)
- With Homecare: income − (expenses + homecare value)
My Net looks negative — is that wrong? budget
Not necessarily. If you include Homecare value, Net (With Homecare) can be lower because it counts time value as well. Switch to Cash to see cash-only net.
What’s the difference between One-time and Monthly repeating in Budget? budget
One-time applies only for the chosen date/month. Monthly repeats every month starting from the start month until you delete it.
